Ludovica Vanni, President and founder of For a Smile Onlus (NPO), presented to the Pope the international humanitarian projects developed by For a Smile in its three years of life. Mrs Ludovica was accompanied by Paola Rivetta the anchorwoman and journalist of the Tg5, who is also testimonial and special patroness of the social communication campaign "ONE HAND IS ENOUGH".

This campaign raises funds for the "Talitha Cum" project for the construction of the first European day care house for street children from 0 to 16 years old in Kinshasa, Congo (RdC) and will be managed by the Company of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul.

Pope Benedetto XVI made his compliments to the President Vanni for the job done by the association, and blessed the projects of the Onlus wishing an intense work of awareness about mercy, charity and love toward the others, particularly toward the vulnerable souls of the children.
